After the events of the L.A. Riots resulting from the Rodney King verdict, I can only imagine that the LAPD brass and political superiors were suppressing evidence from the very beginning while aiding the defense to ensure a not guilty verdict. From moving the trial out of Brentwood to not questioning Mark Furhman's partner at the time about the evidence he uncovered to Judge Ito's Hollywood ego in the courtroom, the fix was in on the OJ Simpson criminal trial from the very beginning.
I remember watching the verdict in the student union in college. All the white kids groaned while the black kids were cheering.
