OJ Tells All: And so does Geraldo Rivera.
Geraldo At Large ^ | November 15, 2006 | Geraldo Rivera

"Of all the low down, sleazy and sadistic tricks, O.J. Simpson — a disgusting, murdering liar — is cashing in big-time on his notorious crimes.

The disgraced former football star who killed his ex-wife, his children’s mother, almost cutting her head off in the process, also killed an innocent young man with his whole life ahead of him, and played the black community for fools — has scored the biggest payday of his life.

It was a not guilty verdict that sharply highlighted and aggravated America’s racial divide, most whites shocked and outraged, most blacks overjoyed.

Now, everyone can see how this punk played us all.

With a pretense that should make everybody, (especially those who sincerely believed in his innocence), gag, an almost half-hearted claim that his portrayal of the murders is hypothetical, in, "If I Did It" Simpson has written a book in which he confesses to the crime the misguided Los Angeles jury acquitted him of back in 1995.

According to the National Enquirer, which broke the story, Simpson’s account of the double murder in the book is, "so detailed and chillingly realistic that it leaves no doubt it is a confession of what really happened."

According to the Enquirer and other sources, I’m ashamed to say that Simpson is being paid $3.5 million by Regan Books and by Harper Collins, sister companies, to the one that produces this program, for the book and related television interviews.

The bloody story Simpson tells involves a mysterious accomplice named "Charlie," accompanying him that terrible night in the infamous white Bronco to Nicole’s condo in Brentwood, on the Westside of Los Angeles.

Furious with his ex-wife Nicole, because she’s been dating other men, he goes armed with a huge knife, a wool cap and gloves. As OJ and "Charlie" stalk Nicole, Simpson confronts a friend of hers, Ron Goldman as he approaches Nicole’s home on an errand to return eyeglasses she left behind at Mezza Luna, the restaurant where Goldman worked as a waiter.

Then, with his two children asleep upstairs, Simpson writes that the next thing he remembers is standing in the dark listening to the pounding of his own heart, his shirt covered in blood, the two bodies lying at his feet.

The smug pig, whose lawyers used the Rodney King beating backlash to impeach the credibility of the police witnesses with the largely black jury, has reportedly already spent much of the money he’s been advanced for the project.

And he’s done it in a diabolically clever way that shields the money from the victim’s families, who have a $33.5 million wrongful death judgment pending against Simpson.

He’s reportedly used it to pay off a Miami home, which is protected by law from creditors, and a luxury condo offshore in the Bahamas.

Nicole’s sister Denise, since the crimes an advocate for victims of domestic violence wrote, "it’s unfortunate that Simpson has decided to awaken the nightmare…We regret that Nicole’s children, Sydney and Justin will be exposed to Simpson’s inexplicable behavior and we will provide them with our love and support during this time."

Simpson makes me want to spit."

I guess this means his kids have figured out the truth. No man would write this book and have his kids look at him as the killer of their mother unless that was already the fact.

I think America is ready -- nay, eager -- for the Geraldo/O.J. Steel Cage Death Match.

either he did and should be locked up or he's freaking out of his mind for going with this scheme and ought to be locked up.

And whoever cooked the idea up out to be run out of town on a rail.

For the sake of "diversity" (which is somehow deemed valuable by the idiots of this world) I would like to offer up my opinion on Geraldo instead of OJ. My opinion of Geraldo is this: He's an a**hole and an idiot and he owes a great deal of his success to his cool name. And also, I intend to name my next son "Geraldo", even though I'm Irish.

Come, all ye with heavy hearts, and feast on this diversity. It's supposed to make you better, I think.

Not to hijack this thread, but Drudge has the siren on this right now...and Regan is talking about OJ beating her up badly years ago.

Did I miss something?

I wonder how the jury feels now... especially the black jurist who gave OJ the black power salute right before the verdict.

I'm sure they're fine with it. That verdict was about revenge, not justice.

Talk about a scream of guilt, though. It's The Tell-Tale Heart, 21st century style.

A couple things come to mind here...

If I were "Charlie", I'd be a little afraid right now...

And, maybe the DA should question OJ about this "Charlie" guy, and then when he doesn't say anything go to court to have him subpoenaed... and if he doesn't cooperated, throw him in the slammer for contempt of court.

Wait a minute...

Wasn't Geraldo the one who continued to believe OJ was innocent?.....During and after the trial.
