How very kind of you! I'm likewise very glad that your dear one is better. I don't know what caused this and I have to correct myself when I sometimes wish I were like that again. Starving myself cased me to have trouble dieting now and also to have really poor periodontal health. But I knew some who had their hair even fall out!
Funny you mentioned Thanksgiving. I was talking about this earlier and some friends told me I should eat what I like for T-day. I'm overweight now but I've lost 15 lbs. in 3 mos. That's a healthy rate vs. 40 lbs. in 2 mos.

I've taken care of AIDS pt's....I've taken care of COPD'ers..and cancer pt's...that looked as bad as that girl.

In what way? I've work with nutrition and eating issues....and the 'natural' thin with a BMI lower than 20 are under 8% of the population. For the remainder to acheive that goal, they have to literally starve.
Damage to teeth, to various organs, thinning hair, facial peach fuzz...it's a terrible disease. I just know you will find the inbetween way that will be just right for you.
Some free advice which is worth what you pay for it, stick to your guns on Thanksgiving. If you are on a track, stay on it. The path is treacherous between the holidays. Believe me, I know this :) If you hold fast, you will feel good about it.

The fags who design the clothes, apparently. Seriously, while models have always been sort of skinny, the past couple of years they have looked like crap - way too skinny for any red blooded normal man to like.
Damn, they either choke on a ham samwich or starve themselves to death!
And there were still probably industry types telling her to lose a couple pounds.
IIRC, there was a Ms. Brazil who was in Ms. Universe competition and they were complaining she was too heavy. There was also discussion about having the lower ribs on both sides removed to make the waist smaller.
There really is something unpleasant about the 'making them look like boys' thing. Remember Twiggy? That's what I aspired to look like. 5'6" and 86 lbs.
