Occassionally I will see a hawk swooping down and grabbing one of my 'welfare sparrows' off the bird feeder and then soaring to the top of the grain elevator to have lunch.
The most amazing sight was when I was walking my dog, heard a 'thump' on the street and saw a hawk had nailed a dove, in flight, took it down, and then proceeded to fly into the vacant lot to have dinner.
Raptors are the 'chuck norris' of the bird community.
Another who resorts to name calling when no other data is available.
I thought this thread was about photography but the poster goes berserk. I guess you were in the right place at the wrong time. I didn't see any reason for the name calling either.
Yes, it was supposed to be about the (very good) picture, but I misunderstood and thought at first it was about hunting.
Oh, well. It was fun nonetheless.
I thought you were making a joke. It was funny to me.
Don't worry...Swampy's just off his meds, or got up on the wrong side of the bed. Let it go, and he'll get over it.
