GOOD MORNING LORD
Good morning, Lord, the night has passed,
Just as You said it would,
And once again I gaze upon
Your world and find it good.
The darkness fades, as darkness will,
And so my heart is light,
For you awake to share my day,
Who watched me through the night.
I cannot see what lies ahead,
But I am sure You know,
So take my hand and walk with me,
Wherever I may go.
No joy or pain is ever sent,
Save by Thine own accord,
So in the shadow of Thy love,
I say ... Good morning, Lord.
~~Grace E. Easley
Unto You, O Lord, be all Glory, Majesty, Honor and Praise, for You are God. Thank You, Merciful Father, that ever is Your interest in the affairs of men, that they come to a saving knowledge of Your Matchless Love. This day, O Lord, may the hearts of the wicked and wayward be opened to Your Cleansing Power ... draw men unto Yourself, O Lord, that we might live.
May Your Providential Hand this day be upon the elected leadership of those who are, and will be, in authority over us. Bring forth those who stand on the principles of faith and righteousness and good will ... hinder those whose agendas reveal a lust for power and fame and and riches. Kindle our hearts with a love for You, O Lord, and Your Word ... fan the spark of Revival into a roaring flame that will not be denied, that we might see Justice and Mercy and a Godly Reverence spring up across our beloved land.
"If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14.
And so it shall be, Lord, and so it shall be, if ...
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray, Amen ...
