Psa 97:1 The LORD reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad!
Psa 97:2 Clouds and thick darkness are all around him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
Psa 97:3 Fire goes before him and burns up his adversaries all around.
Psa 97:4 His lightnings light up the world; the earth sees and trembles.
Psa 97:5 The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth.
Psa 97:6 The heavens proclaim his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory.
Psa 97:7 All worshipers of images are put to shame, who make their boast in worthless idols; worship him, all you gods!
Psa 97:8 Zion hears and is glad, and the daughters of Judah rejoice, because of your judgments, O LORD.
Psa 97:9 For you, O LORD, are most high over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods.
Psa 97:10 O you who love the LORD, hate evil! He preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
Psa 97:11 Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart.
Psa 97:12 Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous, and give thanks to his holy name!

REDEEMER LORD, You reign above all.
You are King and Mighty God.
We praise your Name.
We long for the coming of your SON.
We need to see you all day long.
We need to hear the voice of your Spirit who walks along side us to guide and direct us into all Truth.
Give us that hidden manna from your Word which will strengthen us and preserve us by your Grace.

O for a thousand tongues to sing
My great Redeemer’s praise,
The glories of my God and King,
The triumphs of His grace!

My gracious Master and my God,
Assist me to proclaim,
To spread through all the earth abroad
The honors of Thy name.

Jesus! the name that charms our fears,
That bids our sorrows cease;
’Tis music in the sinner’s ears,
’Tis life, and health, and peace.

He breaks the power of canceled sin,
He sets the prisoner free;
His blood can make the foulest clean,
His blood availed for me.

He speaks, and, listening to His voice,
New life the dead receive,
The mournful, broken hearts rejoice,
The humble poor believe.

Hear Him, ye deaf; His praise, ye dumb,
Your loosened tongues employ;
Ye blind, behold your Savior come,
And leap, ye lame, for joy.

In Christ your Head, you then shall know,
Shall feel your sins forgiven;
Anticipate your heaven below,
And own that love is heaven.

Glory to God, and praise and love
Be ever, ever given,
By saints below and saints above,
The church in earth and heaven.

Mar 4:35 On that day, when evening had come, He told them, "Let's cross over to the other side of the lake."

Mar 4:36 So they left the crowd and took Him along since He was already in the boat. And other boats were with Him.

Mar 4:37 A fierce windstorm arose, and the waves were

breaking over the boat, so that the boat was already being swamped.

Mar 4:38 But He was in the stern, sleeping on the cushion. So they woke Him up and said to Him, "Teacher! Don't you care that we're going to die?"

Mar 4:39 He got up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Silence! Be still!" The wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

Mar 4:40 Then He said to them, "Why are you fearful? Do you still have no faith?"

Mar 4:41 And they were terrified and asked one another, "Who then is this? Even the wind and the sea obey Him!"
...........

Remember Brothers and Sisters, HE told them to go out on the Lake.
They didn't go off on their own idea.....
They were in His Will when the storm struck.
And He was there.
So they would Trust Him.

...........
Fierce was the wild billow,
Dark was the night,
Oars labored heavily,
Foam glimmered white;

Trembled the mariners,
Peril was high,
Then said the GOD of GOD,
-"Peace, it is I."

Ridge of the mountain-wave,
Lower thy crest!
Wail of Euroclydon,
Be thou at rest!

Sorrow can never be,-
Darkness must fly,-
Where saith the Light of Light
-"Peace, it is I."

Jesu, Deliverer!
Come thou to me!
Soothe Thou my voyaging
Over Life's sea.

Thou, when the storm of Death
Roars, sweeping by,
Whisper, O Truth of Truth!
-"Peace, it is I."
