There are times and moments, Lord, like now,
Where the words rush by me, escaping somehow.
What is there for me to say,
When I see the darkness day by day.
On my knees I pray to Thee:
O my Lord, have mercy.
Word by word, and life by life,
The world gone mad with hate and strife,
Those who should be there to show us the way
Have secret sins that they must obey.
On my knees I pray to Thee:
O my Lord, have mercy.
The hardness of heart across the world
like a sword it slashes, like a spear, it's hurled
To pit the one against another,
Over and over Cain slays his brother.
On my knees, I pray to Thee:
O my Lord, have mercy.
Lord, help us stand against this night,
And touch our hearts with Thy pure light.
Help us walk in mercy's way,
Shine with your love, day by day.
On my knees, I pray to Thee:
O my Lord, have mercy.
Teach our hearts, then how to be
Loving followers of Thee,
Knowing how to shed your light,
In this land of sin and night.
On my knees I pray to Thee:
O my Lord, have mercy.
Remind us of Thy mercy-seat,
A cross where Heaven and earth do meet,
You bled and died to open the door,
A flame of Love forever more.
On my knees I pray to Thee:
Thank You, Lord, for Your mercy.

I have a prayer request that came to me this morning from my oldest daughter. My heart breaks for this family. Thankfully they love the Lord Jesus and have hope in Him...

Please pray for our friends from church, D.... and D.....
who lost their 24 year old son Brad, in
a car accident yesterday morning at 3:00am (1/27). It
was a freak accident that happened
early this morning while a police officer was trying
to slow down traffic due to another accident. Brad
was a passenger in the back seat with his seat belt on
and was killed instantly when a car landed on top of
the car he was driving in. There were seven cars
involved in the accident. His is the only death so
far.
D... and D.... are very strong Christians and very
active at our church Please remember their daughter also.
Thank you LORD for Mercy...
Amen.
Love you, KAC.
