California news radio reports that Jessica's Law, just passed overnight by the voters, was already been ruled unconstitutional pending appeal. It was unclear from the report which court made the ruling (I believe the ACLU promptly filed suit after last night's election) and the court reportedly ruled that the law is unconstitutional because it unfairly seeks to punish people.
This is a joke, isn't it?
But...but...but I thought REPUBLICANS were the party of the child molesters!?! The MSM told me so...
sorry, but that's what the report is ... as unbelievable as it seems (measure passed with 70% support and even San Diego lesbian rights District Attorney said it was a no-brainer for people to vote on.
70% of Californians supported this crackdown on perverts and molesters.
More to come, I'm sure.
Remind me what Jessica's Law is.
it's the one that seeks restrictions on child molestors.
I was on the phone with my sister, and she said KCAL channel 9 announced breaking news that 83 had been blocked. This was about 20 mins ago.
This is disgusting. The ACLU is disgusting.
yep ... unbelievable. no, actually totally believable ;(
As opposed to..?
Yeah, isn't it something the party of perverts had the audacity to bring up Mark Foley. This is a perfect example of why judges should have been used by the GOP because the judges the Demonrats put in place are responsible for these kind of decisions. Sickening.
Some slick prosecutor might make a name for himself figuring out that one.
70% of Californians supported this crackdown on perverts and molesters."
But nowadays, we "people" aren't able to make our own choices. We need a judge and a batallion of slick lawyers to tell us how stupid we are, and correct our ways!
Child molesters have officially reached "victim status" with the liberals. Expect everything in the future to follow this same pattern.
this just figures. Now with a Democratic majority the ACLU will run rapant. So much for protecting the children.
Why aren't these thing fought BEFORE they get on the ballot? What a freaking waste of time and money.
The ACLU strikes another victory for criminals.
