If you didn't vote in key areas, then just go away, if you did, read on if you want to......

This has been a strange presser, but with some good humor.

The hard fact is, this seems to be somewhat of a white flag being raised. I don't know how or when Republicans are going to realize that working with democrats can't be done. The current group of activist morons that make up the majority of the upcoming congress could be our downfall in 2008 and after.

I believe democrats will sit on their agenda and will mobilize even more for 2008. If they get a democrat in the White House, we are screwed as a country.

They will then control the judicial, legislative and administrative branches, yep, all of them. They will ram a socialist government down our throats. The media will be even more bias than Al Jazeera (and they are evenly bias now), and as a middle to upper class citizen in this country, you will now change from the driving force of this economy, to the main supplier of income for the lazy do nothings.

The looming Social Security disaster will kill any resemblence of a strong economy and drive tax rates in upwards of 50%-65%. We have been warned about this coming disaster, but again have refused to listen.

Illegals will become a new strong voting base for the democrats, leaving another ignorant group of people who are completely uninterested in educating themselves on facts vulnerable to the elitist leftists once again. Just another slave vote for the liberals. Blacks in this country as a whole have ruined themselves due to this same factor, and now Spanish speaking only illegals will take over as the majority minority.

We will turn our backs on another group of soldiers during a time of war. The difference this time, is that these kids voluntarily signed up to go, and continue to sign up in record numbers to return, yet we still refuse to listen to them and support them in their endevours and beliefs in Iraq. But of course, those troops are just stupid and stuck.

We let this happen. We as Republicans have chosen leaders who we thought were tough, competent and conservative, only to realize that their spines were removed upon their D.C arrival by Dr. Congressional Power. Where is our Newt!? Where are our Hawks!?

If we have any chance of surviving, people that are not life time millionares, not lawyers and certainly not life time government employees have to begin a political revolution of sorts. Run for office people!!!!! Do not sit back and wait for a good talker in a suit only to be double crossed again. If we do not do it right now, we might as well give up.

No Romney, no Guilianni, no Allen (no chance now anyway), no McCcain. I do not want another guy who has been inside Washington too long.

We are the backbone of this country, it is about time we controlled its movements.

TAKE THIS COUNTRY BACK NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we need to hear the words of that great philosopher, Former Senator John Blutarsky

Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough... the tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go!

What happened to the GOP I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? "Ooh, we're afraid to go with you Bluto, we might get in trouble." Well just kiss my ass from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. Reid, he's a dead man! Pelosi, dead! Dean...

Who stabbed who in the back??

Get it straight, my friend..

The american voter doesn't "owe" the republican party a damn thing..
It's the party that owes the people..

They work for me..
If they don't do their job(s) I fire 'em..

They owe the troops fighting for America in Iraq a minimum amount of loyalty. They didn't give even that much. The American voter just threw away nearly 3,000 dead warriors' sacrifice.

I dare call it treason.

Who are you to decide what that loyalty is?
Or how to express it??
Who made you God??

Maybe some of those voters don't think it's worth it to sacrifice another 3,000 american lives..
That's their decision...
You get your say, but it's just the one vote..
We abide by what the majority decides..

It took 40 years of voting for me to pick a winning presidential candidate..
Show a little patience and man up..

Who are you to decide what that loyalty is?

A Vietnam veteran.

I was in a hospital ICU due to a gunshot wound (I was a cop for a little while after I got back to the world) when Saigon fell because the Democrats decided to pull the plug. At that point, it wasn't even actual troops--they decided to simply end logistical support and waste the 52,000+ lives spent defending Vietnam.

I wanted to die. I damn near did. The only thing that kept me going was my family--I had to be there for them.

Well, on 9/11/01, I gave my son (my youngest child) and my nieces and nephews the "this is your rendevous with destiny" speech, and bade them to enter the military to fight the jihadis.

They did.

Good God, that was a stupid move. As if I should've expected America the Decadent to keep its word. Should've talked to a Montengard or Hmong first.

Maybe some of those voters don't think it's worth it to sacrifice another 3,000 american lives..

Cut. Run. And give the jihadis a free victory.

I dare call that treason.

If that press conference Bush just had doesn't shut up the Bush bots around here then nothing will...bush was never a Conservative

Maybe so, but if you think having someone even more conservative than he in the white house would have allowed us to keep control of congress, you are only fooling yourself.

When did Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

So, are you mad at yourself, FRiend? My daughter left a good job and signed up for the AF. Nobody convinced her to do it, she just did. I'm very proud of her for making this sacrifice and NO DAMN LIBERAL VICTORY IS GOING TO CHANGE THAT!

So, are you mad at yourself, FRiend?

Absolutely. I made the mistake of trusting "my fellow citizens."

Now I'm wondering if I've managed to wipe out the family name. Iraq's going to explode. Most likely Afghanistan will follow--and the Dems will cut and run from both. Meanwhile, my son's in Afghanistan and my nephews are in Iraq.

Like I say, I dare call yesterday's vote treason.

9 years for me.. US Army... '71 to '80...

But I'm not going to let a political decision like this upset me..
I've been of the mind for a long time there is little to no difference between republicans and democrats..
They both block any attempts by third parties to join the race..
They like the "2 party system" and don't want anyone in their little clique..

As for Iraq, we've messed it up...
We repeated history and let congress get involved..
They aren't supposed to run the military, just fund it..

I don't consider it cut and run..
They have a government, an army, a police force..
Rebuilding infrastructure is not our task, or responsibility...
That's a business opportunity...
That's political favors for campaign contributors..

Let the Iraqis handle it..
It'll be brutal, bloody, and uncivilized, but it will be settled, one way or the other..
And we won't be involved..

It would actually cost less to mount a new invasion force if we have to, than to stay there..

You need to quit beating yourself up over this. God willing, your son and nephew will return home safely and one day, your faith in your fellow citizens will also. It's the best We can hope for.

Except that we won't ever do that.

Once the Dems surrender, we don't do rematches.

Seriously..

Do you really think the Dems will be in "power" for more than 2 years??

I'll make a prediction, right here and now..
The next 2 years are going to be a total disaster for the Dems...
They will prove their incompetence to the american public and the world..

2008 will see the return of a new, re-invigorated republican party, a more conservative, more grounded party, with all of their priorities right..

My concern is that we will not be able to regain lost time, and that dominoes will start falling across SW Asia as they did across SE Asia. Figure we'll be out of Iraq by the end of September 2007...and out of Bahrain, Kuwait, and the UAE no more than three months later.

Saudi Arabia will go Islamist. Iran will go nuclear.

2008 will see the return of a new, re-invigorated republican party, a more conservative, more grounded party, with all of their priorities right..

No, 2008 will see "Jericho" quit being drama and became a reality show.

There's the current regime, and there's what would replace it. Think of the difference between the Shah and the Ayatollah. And be very afraid.

LOL!!!

I'm not laughing.

The guy in charge of Iran (a) wants nuclear weapons and (b) wants to bring about the end of the freakin' world, and will cheerfully use (a) to accomplish (b).
