If you didn't vote in key areas, then just go away, if you did, read on if you want to......

Now we all live in key areas. Yesterday we in North Carolina gave up a seat to a lousy quarterback. I'm not expecting much more out of him as a politician. If we could put him on injured reserve like Mike Ditka did, right now would be the time.

Illegals will become a new strong voting base for the democratsGood thing our Republican Party has worked so hard and diligently to stem the overwhelming deluge of illegals entering the U.S.

You think this is bad? Wait till Mrs. Clinton has the keys to the White House in her purse again....... Well, the last time she had them, she attempted her Health Care Power Grab and as a result she handed the House and Senate to the Republicans for 12 years.
Maybe now the Republicans will remember why they got put in charge in the first place, and maybe so will the voters.

Just go Away??
Sounds like a challenge to me..
You're being melodramatic...
Stop it..
Dems got a majority in the house, that's all..
Maybe they'll get a majority in the senate..
So What??
That doesn't guarantee the passage of any laws, unless the republicans cooperate and vote with them..
Even if the Dems pass a bill with a simple majority, of say, one or two votes, it means nothing...
President Bush can veto it..
Then they will need a 2/3 majority to override the veto..
If they can manage to get enough republicans to vote with them to override a presidential veto, then I'll start to worry..
Then again, if Bush doesn't veto it, I'll be worried too..
If that were the case, I would say we misunderestimated him.. badly...

So the complete shift against Republicans resulting from their inability to hammer much needed legislation through a Republican controlled Congress is not a concern to you?
I believe that this exact passive attitude is why we arrived here last night.

Our congressional districts are best examples of how to draw a map for democratic victory in the country. I'm in the 2nd district, Bob Ethridge. We never had a chance.

It is truly amazing how some districts are drawn to where "representative" is nothing more than a historical term with no current meaning.

I can only hope the the architect of NC's districts, speaker of the house, Jim Black ends up losing his race. This morning he was only ahead by 7 votes.

I stopped being "concerned" a couple of years ago...
I saw the vacillating, the spinelessness, the midnight pay raises, the ineffectiveness...
I looked in the tea cup and saw the future..
I am however, a pragmatist..
The republicans did better as a minority party..
They never got used to the idea of being the majority, and in power..
They never got used to the idea that they could "hammer" through legislation..
They let the democrats run the show, and became corrupted..
We'll get new leadership, maybe a new, revitalized agenda..
Hopefully, the republicans, as the underdog, can get their spine back, and some morals...
Maybe a new, third party will come forth with some principles...
I said in 2000 that there was no real difference between Gore and Bush..
Except, with Bush, the sleigh ride to hell would be a little slower...
My prediction has held true..

TAKE THIS COUNTRY BACK NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!That was a fine sentiment for Monday. It's Wednesday. Too late, son; the traitorous American public has, once again, stabbed its warriors in the back.

Actually, right now is the right time. Yesterdays election set the table for my request.
Shameful that it took a complete Republican meltdown to get here, but yesterday showed how bad it is.
