Exactly. This is a Conservative forum, not a GOP one. This past government abandoned many conservative principles and got their a** handing to them for it.

Bush is spending more then Clinton ever did and we're supposed to be grateful. No, the Republicans deserved to lose. IMO, the Reagan conservative movement officially died when Newt Gingrich was ousted during the Clinton impeachment. Even in this election cycle, Newt offered a 10 point plan for the Republicans to run on. After years of spending like drunken sailors, all the former majority leadership offered was "we suck less than Nancy Pelosi."
What was left after Gingrich? We called them RINO's, but they were Democrats that ran as Republicans. What will be interesting now is that a significant number of the newly elected (D) House members ran on positions that are to the right of the current/former Republican majority. Are they DINO's? Or, did they lie to get elected? If they are socialists disguised as moderate dems, i.e. they lied, they will be in the street in 2 years with the RINO bums.

No, the Republicans deserved to lose. Unfortunately, the Democrats didn't deserve to win, and that is the price we pay for allowing the Reps to lose.

Oh Lord...the clintonites are scurrying from underneath the cupboards again.
Cleaning up the mess that clinton left for the world is expensive, and Bush didn't have the profits from selling nuclear secrets to the Chicoms, et al... It took more than one missile on an aspirin factory to help clean up the mess.
The clinton presidency was a dog and pony show, starring his plastic-banana-rock-and-roll self, and any female he could entice into his lair.
On the other hand, the Bush economy is thriving, record unemployment and the stock market is busting through the roof. We're safer and class and dignity has returned to the White House after the redneck clinton clan disgraced it for 8 years...never with a majority vote, I might add.
If you admire the clintons that much, you should be over at DU, where they don't give a damn about America, only "celebrity".
Oh, and about the "horse I rode in on"...I have to keep her hid or clinton will no doubt have his way with her....
