How do you make the box, with a table? |
Rodney King Syndrome? (Can't we all get along?)
The RINO-coddlers are already screeching that we lost because we didn't go liberal enough. How's that for insanity?
Opinion: 6. Having the media work against them, and people naive enought to trust the media.
Macaca (picky).
I believe I read somewhere that those ads were due to fact that he was hurting among women, especially surburban Republican women he needed to win. Sure didnt do anything to gin up the base but i believe the base turned out. It was just independents turned against Jim (probably because R after his name)
Like it or not, neither did our side. We kept playing grab-ass and repeating the "stay the course" mantra long after we should have adapted our game plan. What's worse, we fought this war like we were somehow entitled to win it and never made any decisive blows on our enemy's will or capability to fight. And then our "leaders" totally screwed the pooch by letting the likes of Moqtada al-Sadr go free when we had him on the ropes and then, mere months later, al-Sadr and his goons went right back to killing our troops.
In light of those colossal screw-ups, the Democrats didn't have to offer the voters anything apart from "We're not those guys."

There was a lot of that going on at 4 a.m. on the big election thread.
Conservatives don't get elected. They get re-elected.
"...Denny Hastert Bill Frist..."
Remember those two "wastes" were put in place by their colleagues.
BINGOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Did Irey beat Murtha?
You mean No Borders.
Hell, if you ask some of the RINO-coddlers around here, we should be voting for big-spending liberals just because they have an 'R' by their names. That 'R' will make those liberals magically support conservative issues, y'know! (/SARCASM)
Funny you mention this........ I was telling my democratic neighbor that his party left him years ago but he still votes for them. Most of the main characters beliefs in the democratic party is no way near to my neighbors beliefs but they still stick with them.
I'm beginning to wonder if you aren't right, they (Republicans) don't represent our beliefs anymore. I think their biggest problem is they have no backbone. Look at all the wrong things the Dems do and they are still there yet, the Reps do something half as bad and they give up.
I just read where Faith Hill made a statement that she did not get pissed when they anounced the winner of the top female vocalist yesterday and yet, I saw a video of her showing her emotions, bet she will get away with her answer (which was "it was a joke", where have we heard that before.) I don't know what her party affliation is and don't really care but its a case of getting away with a lie.
Mogadishu, Somalia - cut and run. This convinced Bin Laden the Americans were paper tigers. Attack on 5 or 6 foreign American instillations or the Cole. We did nothing in response. Attack on World TRade towers - killed 3000. We respond to Islamofascism with attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq. 8 months later the American will is atritted. It takes 3 more years effect the governing body of the US....Now the policy demanded is to do the same thing as we did in Somalia....We wait....for an attack...and deal with our law enforcement problem of the murder of perhaps tens of thousands or millions of Americans. So.....WE WAIT.
And people wonder why I won't support RINOs. There's two reasons right there.
Maybe they'll learn something in the next 2 years.
