Tony Snow's first comments last night were to "work with the Democrats on (amnesty) comprehensive immigration reform".

And this morning, Mehlman says that there is an opportunity for bipartisan immigration reform.

Clueless

No, they're not clueless. They just think that government is there to 'do the right' thing, and that transnational sense of loyalty transcends any sense of particular loyalty to the United States, its citizens or its Constitution.

The human face of nanny-state despotism. They just argue about the details, like tax-rates, but the fundamental assumption that the gov is there to take care of everyone is the same.

"And this morning, Mehlman says that there is an opportunity for bipartisan immigration reform"

And he also said that the Repubs will push for a bigger federal health insurance program, shat ever that means. To me it sounds like more government spending.
