If we were going to lose the Senate anyway, I'm glad Chafee is gone.
The Republicans in Congress, must put aside their differences and rally around President Bush for the next two years. The future of the GOP literally depends on this. If they continue to attempt to distance themselves, the GOP is going to get run over by the Rats. They must stand united here.
I will second that sentiment :) Now is our time to unite like never before. We still have a chance to turn all of this around in 2008.
