Are you so ridiculously out of touch?

Get a sleep please! That could help.

Um, why is this a good thing? His vote was important for committee assignments.

Yep, I refuse to be depressed by any of these results. Maybe the R's get a little of what they deserve for not fighting hard enough. Having the D's in control makes for good talk radio. This will be two fun years of having Pelosi out front spewing her dopey ideology.

More like 20 more years of Pelosi.

Oh sure....thank God he lost. A win would have ment we kept control of the Senate which we will now lose. I don't share your glee with the new Senate Majority leader Harry Reid. No wonder we lost tonight with this attitude.

Dude, Chafee has a 26% conservative voting record.

His is lower than many DEMOCRATS!!

Chafee is NO HELP to the GOP and NEVER was.

Um, why is this a good thing? His vote was important for committee assignments.

His vote was worthless. If the Senate was 50/50, he would have switched parties anyway. Of all the people who lost tonight, he was one of the few who really deserved to lose.

If you need Chafee to win the Senate then something bigger is out of order.

You have a reading comprehension problem.

I never said I wanted the GOP out of power. But, since we ARE, I say I'm glad Chafee went WITH it!!!

You really need to pay attention.

"Chafee is NO HELP to the GOP and NEVER was. "

Given that it appears we may well lose 51-49 he was a big damn help. He caucused with the right party. Had Lincoln won, we'd have control of all the senate commitees locked up. His loss could have huge consequences in terms of legislation and court nominees.
