We need to win both TN and MO to hold the senate... right? Hopefully Allen can still pull it off... Both TN and MO look good, although unfortunately MT doesn't...

I worry for the 2nd Amendment. What is taking over are the most vociferous individuals against the 2nd Amendment.

Time to start putting together the ammunition. It is a time for clarity of our basic principles and then use every slip up on the rats path against them as we push forward to organizing for the next election. The bad news is Bush will have his hands tied. The good news is the Dems have no agenda except to try to lock up the administration in legal charges and game playing. This is what we are going to see from now until the end of Bush's presidency is everything short of bringing Bush up for war crimes. But we need to use this as a basis to move forward.
The Dems don't have an agenda that the majority of Americans believe in. Keep heart. It has been a real kick in the stomach and tommorow forward the Americans that voted for a Dem will have to live with their foolish reality. We can work for the future.

Yep. Really amazing. And the Dems WILL be emboldened. They'll whip the troops back from Iraq before you can say Osama Obama, and they'll have Bush, Rumsfeld, and everyone else up on all sorts of charges. Already there are comments from Snow about "now we'll get comprehensive immigration reform" (i.e., amnesty).

Does this mean it does not look good? (for Talent)
Looks pretty grim.
Is there a logical reason why all the dem precincts are always last? I guess the explanation would be that they are the most populated.
But the REAL explanation?
To: misterrob
It certainly is going to recount. It's a statistical tie.

Say goodbye to any hope of conservative judges. We will get either Gonzales or Consuelo M. Callahan. More likely the latter.

Alright. I am going to bed.
It is now clear we have lost: Virginia, MO, and Mt.
We have lost the SEnate.
We have now lost both the House and Senate.
I need a drink.....goodnight.

Can't help but wonder about the spin all month that Karl Rove supposedly was perfectly calm and confident yadda yadda and knows something we don't etc. This is a reminder that we need to rely on God, not on a man. No matter how 'genius' he is.

99.26% of precinct counts are in.....there is still room for a win...before the recount starts....don't give up....
To: Grim
What about it? Rove's data showed we would hang on at the time the stories were run. Apparently there was a last-minute shift towards the Democrats.
Looks like we're holding on to the Senate. Given history, that's a pretty decent accomplishment.

Talent should pull it off. Steele is coming through also.

Both a Allen and a Talent win is now VERY iffy.
To: Terpfen
Unfortunately, Talent is down now...

typical Democrat tactic-wait until you see how many votes you need and then magically produce them-like Daley did to Nixon in 1960.
