Well, here in PA...

...I am happy to say that I just voted in State College (central PA) with no problems. :) No line outside of the church to get in, short wait inside while the friendly poll workers showed people how to use the touchscreen machines, voted (Santorum, Swann, Peterson, Corman, Spencer) and walked out amidst smiling, happy people. :) Shook hands with a couple of the candidates who were outside, and left. Starting to rain. Whole process took about 15 mins. I was #462 to vote today.

Here in Gwinnett County, Georgia, our polling place has traditionally been heavily Republican and then place has been swamped all day so far. That SHOULD be a bad sign for the forces of darkness.

What concerned be was that there WERE a fair number of soccer moms in the line.

We'll know some time around 8pm this evening how it went.

Does having a polling place in a church keep the liberals away?

Sweetness and I voted in PA-5 on brand new iVotronic machines. I was disappointed, because if the town had bought Diebold machines, we'd've gotten 1.6 (R) votes each instead of just one each.

You just described my voting experience here in Indiana, Pa. I voted about 8:30 this morning and was voter number 84.

Yes, especially if you pour a little holy water near the door... :-)
