Vote. People died so you can have this right; exercise the franchise that is your birthright.
And, above all, if you do not vote, don't get angry when I tell you to shut up if you didn't vote. You don't vote, you accept the outcome. If you want to whine, you have to express your opinion at the ballot box.
Other things I don't want to hear:
** My vote wasn't counted--how do you know, it's a secret ballot.
** My vote was counted incorrectly--how do you know, it's a secret ballot.
** My vote was wrong because my ballot was handled incorrectly--how do you know, it was a secret ballot.
** I want a receipt that shows how I voted--how can you tie it back to your ballot, it was a secret ballot.
So...

Shumer was looking at a win in VA because of the heavy Dem count in the remaining uncounted.

The north is done. The southern cities in the Commonwealth are about 1/3 to 1/2 counted. Early returns in those areas show heavy Webb leads--maybe, hoping, those are all the D heavy precincts.

Blackwell did not do well with moderates and independents. Sure, Taft hurt him, as did the President, but he hurt himself even further.
Moderates and independents saw him in the pockets of activist preachers (Rod Parsley and the lesser known Russell Johnson), a man of angry temperment, and while a man of conviction, those convictions scared too many people.
He was the perfect blueprint candidate that so many conservative and pro-lifers said would win no matter what.
He didn't pull it off.
Michael is appalled that Chaffe lost. Duh! The country is swallowing the liberal lie and the terrorists are going to reel us in and we are all going to be fighting to keep from getting our heads SAWED OFF while they chant to their god, "alluah akbar".

In Virginia, the FBI is looking into complaints of voter intimidation in the race between Republican Sen. George Allen and Democrat Jim Webb. One law enforcement source said one such instance appeared to consist of a phone call — a voter answered the phone prior to leaving for the local polling place and the caller asked who the voter was planning to support, then gave the address of a supposed polling station. The address was not correct, leading some in Richmond to think the voter was purposely misdirected

No change in Congressional representation in all but one race that is still not called.
The remaining race, VA-2, the incumbant R is up by 4% with 84% in.
The Commonwealth is doing its part, by and large. Trying to pull out Senate race.
