Another side story to the gala was the Dixie Chicks. The trio has one of the best-selling albums of the year with "Taking the Long Way," yet failed to receive a single nomination. WHO??????????

Hey, did anyone see the female vocalist of the year award presentation?!!?!?!?! Carrie underwood won, but they showed everyone on screen while the announcement was made. I am not sure, but I think I saw Faith Hill get mad, say something in disbelief that Carrie won and walk off-screen! Can anyone confirm that!!!!!!!????????????//
