Because it's an idiotic question. Stallman, whose various organizations owns the copyright on probably more code in Linux distributions than anyone, is a Green Party member and obviously farther left than anyone. After that probably Torvalds, rasied by communists and still not American even though he works here, and gives his code away to communist China and Cuba etc for free. Then probably Jobs, since Gates has given thousands of dollars to Republican party offices all over the country, I doubt any of the others have ever given a dime.
