I've been saving My Posts files (right back to the very first one, but excluding some which were deleted for various reasons) and my total posts are something under 12,000. :') But I'm not sure how to check for the actual figure. ;')
Click on "More" on the top of any page, and the actual #'s should appear right at the top.
