They think all the evangelicals will be devastated and stay home and/or vote democrat. Apparently they think that one idiot's sins brings shame on ALL Evangelicals. At least that is what the MSM is hoping for. Boy will they be surprised on Election day.
I'm not sure how this is any different from someone saying, "A black guy committed a crime, so all black people are bad." I guess the difference is that Christians are fair game for the MSM's broad brush.
