A Freeper's Observation: The 2006 Elections
November 2nd, 2006 | E.G.C.

I want to take a few moments to share my observations concerning this year's elections and the vital importance of making sure that our goverment stays in Republican hands.

As I'm sure a lot you know by now there is a lot at stake here and that includes our rights as christians and conservatives to be able to continue to address issues of public importance and question the actions of our elected officials without the fear of retribution and retaliation.

Recently, I wrote a letter to the editor on this very subject. This letter appeared last week in the Lawton Oklahoma Constitution and the Wichita Falls Texas Times and Record News.

On Tuesday, I received what was probably the most gutless and idiotic respone that I've ever seen. An idiot from Wichita Falls who claimed to be speaking for the majority of people in our area wrote a letter saying that because of my article, he decided to vote Democrat.

This screwball ended this idiotc reply with "Let's keep religion and politics seperate"

Well, I have news for this idiot. There's no such thing as keeping religion and poltics seperate. Not when you have politicians who want to bully christians around and impose laws on them that you know and I know go against their biblical teachings. I'm not just talking about religious institutions but christians who are entrepeuneurs and who want to run their business on their own philosophy, not the philosophy of some atheist or new world order type goofball.

Idiots like this writer are the kind of people that we are up against. This isn't just a battle for the heart and soul of the people of this nation. This is also a battle for ability as christians and conservatives to continue to exist and do the things we do without fear of retribution and retalition.

But it's not just what at stake on the National level. it's also what at stake on the state level for a number of states across America.

Here in Oklahoma, we have one of the most spiteful, mean and vindicitve attorney generals ever.Recently it was reported that a couple of cattle ranchers and poultry producers were slapped with subpoenas demanding records on their farms, bank records and income tax returns becuase they dared to call him on his intentions to put the agriculture industry here in Oklahoma out of business through frivolous actions.

The agriculture industry is a very vital part of Oklahoma's economy. If this AG wins on November 7th, this state will most certainly not have a future.

This is just one example out of many of what is at stake here in this election and why it's so vital that we as conservatives and christians get out and vote on November 7th. If I haven't yet impressed this urgency upon you then let me add one more item that I know will do so:

The War on Terror

President Bush recognizes where the real threats to this country are and is working to alleviate this threat day in and day out. That's not how the Democrats see it.

As the Democrats see it, the real threats to this country are from Christians and conservatives. During Bill Clinton's presidency, several of his political opponents and advarsaries were visited by the secret service for daring to blow the whistle on him and questioning actions.

As the Democrats see it anyone who speaks negatively of them is a threat to National Security. That's you and me, folks. In some states like Virginia, they're actually having goverment employees report property rights activists to the civil authorities as terrorists. This is who the Democrats see as threats to National Security, their political opponents and adversaries.

TOPICS: Chit/Chat
There's a lot of other stuff I could get into, but what I've just addressed is just some of what's at stake in this elections. Not just our rights as Christians and Conservatives to continue to address issues of public importance without the fear of retaliation and retribution. Not just our US Constitution and the rights therein, but also our ability to continue to fight the war on terror and maintain our focus on the individuals and groups who pose the real Nnational Security threats to our country.

And so, I would urge all christians and conservatives to get out and vote on November 7th. Please don't let the minastream media or the DNC discourage you or influence your decisions. These people do not have our nations best interest in their hearts. They want this nation to become a one party nation with the Democrats in charge and for America to become part of a one world, one way of thinking, New World Order "Progressive" Groupthink. There's simply no way this nation is going to have a future if we let it happen.

So, let's show this idiot, screwball letter writer from Wichita Falls, Texas who didn't bother to leave a return address on his envelope in his letter to me who the real bosses are here in America. Get out and vote November 7th.

This Christian Conservative is voting a straight R. You're right that much is at stake in this election and will be so until our values are no longer under constant assault.
