Domino's pizza, lemonade, fire going in the fireplace, raining like crazy outside, and now it's time to sit back and watch the Red Wings-Stars game. 1-1 so far. Stay tuned for updates.
Second period over. Still 4-3.
Meanwhile, in other games, Minnesota Wild and Anaheim Ducks are tied 2-2, and the Blue Jackets are beating the LA Kings 2-0.
Third period well under way, still no change in score.
Just got home from a Jr. High game. We won 5-3.
Caps losing to Vancouver 2-0.
Pavel Datsyuk just did an awesome backhand shot! Flicked the puck in the air, turned around and whapped it! Too bad it didn't go in.
Yep I've seen that. Malkin's a hero on and off the ice.
And c'mon Caps, you can beat the Canucks!
They've got 2 periods yet.
And congrats on your junior high win! :)
Ah good. Caps are my local team..I live 60 miles from DC. And plus they've got Ovechkin!
I'm a Hershey Bears season ticket holder.
I've seen a lot of the Caps and Avs players come up through the system.
90 seconds left...Wings still ahead!!
Haek's been great this period! He's made a ton of great saves. Marty Turco however, seems to be getting a little tired.
1 minute!!
Cool!
YES! Red Wings just won! 4-3!!
Well, Buffalo went 10 straight, but I'd be surprised to see them go far in the playoffs.
First period shots on goal
Vancouver 16
Capitals 1
This is ugly!!!
Yeah I would too. Though I hope they do go far, I like the Sabres. With Drury and Afinogenov and Spacek and Numminen they're quite a team.
Ouch! C'mon Caps, let's get our act together
They can't get a decent rush into the zone, even on a PP.
And when they do, Luongo shuts them down!
Yeah...not good
Win or lose, I've still got tickets to the Bears/River Rats game tomorrow night in Hershey! 8^)
