My Sixth Sense

by Kate of Spice Island

Last night I posted a few of my first visions and promised more.

The first really significant and rather life altering sixth sense episode was very intense in lots of ways.

I was at basic training at Ft. Jackson, SC and had been there less than a month. We were outside and I don't recall what we were doing at the time, but I got a sense that something was wrong back home in Phoenix, AZ and the reason I sensed this was I could see in my head that our company commander was on a phone call in his office and that someone from my family was giving him bad news to deliver to me.

Captain Moore came out and managed to go up to the wrong trainee and although I ran towards where the two of them were, I was not able to stop him in time from telling her what he was supposed to tell me. By the time I reached them, another trainee was trying to console her.

I walked up to Captain Moore with blatant disregard for any military respect I had learned over the past three weeks and change and basically confronted him with his error and went as far as telling him what I saw in my head and that he needed to double-check who he was supposed to be speaking to.

I was right and my life in the army changed very radically over the next few days. Let's just say that there were no legal violations on a federal level for me to do what God put me on this earth to do. I still actively do it, I still volunteer to do it and in the end, God couldn't have chosen anyone that was designed so perfectly as to get the job done.

Back in 1983, our government had officially given up on forcing people to have visions and had clandestine operations (Ft. Meade was one location) where those that were mildly to moderately capable were trained to hone in their skills and they pretty much remote viewed to get the job done.

As for what was going on back home...my sister was in a motorcycle accident and by the end of the week, she had her left leg amputated below the knee. It was strange that I couldn't see that specifically (thank goodness) but I could see my dad on the phone with a dark sport jacket and could see both ends of the conversation but not hear the words.

A few months after that, I was in Tucson, AZ and I heard my name being called and at the same time I saw an eye in a triangle, like what is on top of the pyramid on the back of a one dollar bill. I couldn't remember where I had seen the image and then later noticed it there and chose to go to the Catholic school where I attended as a high school student.

My favorite priest was there and I showed him the symbol an dasked if he knew what it meant and I told him why. He told me to just not worry about it and much later I learned that the symbol was the "Eye of God".

The next strange thing for me was that we were waiting to hear where my boyfriend was going to be stationed, because we planned on me going there and getting married. My grandma asked me about it one day and I told her that he was going to be stationed in NYC. A few weeks later, he found out that his orders were for NYC and was stationed at Ft. Totten in Queens.

So I packed up and went to NY and (still) had my sights set on becoming a doctor. One day while hubby was at work I rode the bus to St. John's University and applied and did all of the happy hoops and was accepted. But as I was walking up towards the building where I would start the application process, I heard "psychology" and there was nobody around to have said that. Being the stubborn tard that I was, I ignored the voice, but I was a good little wife and stayed home as my husband asked, rather than try to attend college. (We both kick ourselves in the pants now for him being too insecure to let me go to school. I later filed for divorce so that I could go to college and got extra helpings of psychology courses through the college of education.)

A few years later I looked at the winning lottery numbers in the AZ newspaper and got a funny feeling to play the numbers, but then I rationalized with myself that the numbers just won and that it would be a stupid waste of money to use the numbers.

The next week they picked the exact same numbers, including the powerball.

Meanwhile, I was just doing what I was told and following those little voices that didn't have much to say that week...

Right now the whole vision thing seems to be opening up like Pandora's Box and it has been hard for me to remain patient, but the bottom line is that the message is that we are here to love and help one another and that nobody has the right to abuse another human for any reason.

At this point, I am not extremely comfortable with putting everything over the past 10+ years into words, but I can tell you that both of my sons and my daughter see things before they happen. It occurs in both daydreams and night dreams and my sons helped make the whole thing so much easier to deal with, but there has been some fun and/or unusual stuff...

I did have a very specific dream about a year or so ago and then woke up to find that everything I dreamed was happening. It was all about my dental appointment and I was to get two teeth ready for crowns instead of just one. Everything from what color scrubs the dental assistant was wearing to the dialog to the specific gloved finger she used to point to the specific tooth that also needed a crown.

I described a picture in specific detail that hadn't been taken yet and then about three months later the picture was actually taken in Qatar.

A few months back I told my husband that the fire trucks that were zooming by were going to put out a fire at Wal-Mart and it turned out to be one of the two Wal-Mart fires where they manged to get video footage of the Serial Shooter that had been terrorizing the valley for over a year.

Around that same time I told hubby that they were going to announce that there were only two and not three serial predators and managed to beat the AP by a few hours on that announcement.
