They'll be lucky if they can get a game by Saturday. According to the Weather Underground web page, Thursday and Friday will be rainy periods, too.

As a fan who loves and respects the game of professional baseball, I am indignant that these games are played at night in October in those climates.

For chrissakes it 30 degrees colder at night...in the 40's and 50's.

You bust your rump all season long to play in this crap just to sell more beer and cars.

When I saw Willie Mays make that catch and Bill Mazerowski make Mickey Mantle cry it was in the middle of the afternoon on a 13 inch B&W Admiral.

Then we raced outside to play catch and pretend we were Warren Spahn or Whitey Ford...sometimes with snow on the ground.

Play the games in the October sunshine!!
