Cards have had plenty of chances to score more runs.

Local Fox Sports replayed the '68 WS game 1 where Gibson set the strike out record. Really enjoyed it. Harry Carey and Curt Goudy were the announcers.

I grew up listening to Harry Carey and Jack Buck doing Card games on the radio. No wonder I am such a baseball fan.

I know Fox hasn't liked the fact that its a non-NY WS, but the games have been pretty good so far.

I am getting a little tired of the product placement though. Cars and tacos are fine, just not during the action.

Could you see that Talent ad, or is this a local break?

I agree.

And I sure do miss Jack Buck. He was a class act. I don't really know a lot about Harry, but those that loved him really loved him.

Like a song here in St. Louis said, when Jack was calling the game you "saw it on the radio."

Reminds me of "the Dodger way to play baseball" = squandered opportunities. Some years they led the league in men left on base . . .

But, they're my team forever.
