Our little girl was born on Oct 14, 9lb, 8oz. Minimal damage to Mrs. Gb occured, and we left the next day. Little Miss GB is eating gustily, but, strangely, she is not yet sleeping through the night, per her Father's instructions....

Congrats! Yes it can be done without the Epi. In fact it often goes faster is you don't get one. I went from 2cm to 10 in 45min on my second child with no meds. The first started fast until they gave me the Epi then it stalled to 1cm an hour.

strangely, she is not yet sleeping through the nightLOL. With the joys come the travails. The former far outweigh the latter. Congratulations to the GoBucks family, one and all.

She won't sleep through the night until age 2. Then, she'll still wake you up Saturday mornings at 6:45...then by the time she's 14 you'll be banging on her bedroom door at 11am Saturday morning yelling "time to get up..."
At least that's how my sister and I both were...

I think if I told my husband "It hurts too much" and "I want the epidural. I can't take it any more", and he read my bible verses instead, I'd shoot him where he stood.
But all the best to you, and your wife, and your children.
