LOL -- Let's apply OCCAM'S RAZOR to this controversy :-)

is it :

EXHIBIT A
1. Kenny Rogers has illegal substance on hand
2. Tony LaRussa inspects balls, sees illegal substance, but is so nice he doesn't say anything so he won't upset his friend in the other dugout
3. Home Plate Umpire Angel Marquez sees the illegal substance and tells ROgers "Better wash that off before someone catchs you"
4. Rogers transfers substance to back of cap, but FOX catches him, but they are in on the fix too so they don't tell anyone.

1. Rogers has dirt on hand and is asked to wash it off.
