There have been a few but the one I remember is the 10 inning masterpiece by Jack Morris in game 7 of the 1991 series for the Twins. It left an impression on the Blue Jays who promptly signed him for 1992 and while he lost his two starts in the 1992 series without his 21 wins that year the Jays wouldn't have even been there to finally win it all. Tigers, Twins and Blue Jay fans owe the world to Jack Morris.

I remember that too. Wasn't a Twins fan but a Morris fan from all his years as a Tiger. He wasn't a smooth-looking pitcher like a Seaver or Palmer, always looked like he was working hard, served up a lot of home runs. But when it mattered the most, he was great. Maybe Hall of Fame some day, but he had contempt for the press, and they vote. He flipped them the bird once. :)
