Go get 'em Tigers!
aren't the Tigers owned by the Little Caesar's guy?
bttt
They are now. They were owned by the Domino's guy when they won in 1984.
Sounds like the kind of guy I'd like to watch...play. ;)
Tigers up 1-0
Why is that "PC?" I agree that it is BS.
1-1 now.
Rolen...tie game
>>They have no business being in the World Series.
someone ought to dig out the "predictions" that were made by sportswriters in papers nationwide, right around Opening Day. Who would have predicted Tigers v. Cardinals?
Since 1991, AL has won World Series 10 out of 14 times
(no series in '94)
91--Twins AL
92, 93--Blue Jays AL
94 no Series
95--Braves NL
96--Yankees AL
97--Marlins NL
98, 99, 00--Yankees AL
01--Diamondbacks NL
02--Angels AL
03--Marlins NL
04--Red Sox AL
05--White Sox AL
That kind of a call is BS.
Pujols suddenly hitting again? 2 run HR, 4-1 Cards...
shoulda walked him
Tigers 1
Any pizza left?
All I know is that I was predicting the World Series in Detroit right around the end of April.
Even Cards fans are making predictions for the Tigers...
One of my vendors from Wentzville said last week, "if the Cards make it to the Series the Tigers are gonna whoop our butts"
(4-1!? Oh, boy. Not looking good... But hey, it's only the 3rd)
Gone. I'm doing Detroit fans a favor and turning it off. I always jinx games when I watch.
Verlander had 9 days off, looks rusty, getting the ball up. I was afraid the Tigs would be rusty, but the game is still young.
The experts were wrong about both the Cards and Tigers making the WS. Thats why the games are played on the field and not on paper. Go Cards!!
I don't know, 5Ks for Verlander in the 4th? Not TOO rusty...
Make that 6
Make it 7.
Strikeouts are nice (7 now), but 4-1 ain't. :)
