Out of fairness, 12 years of John Engler as gov and six years of Spence Abraham as senator (and 8 years of Dennis Archer as mayor of Detroit) helped bring Michigan back around. 4 years of Jenny as gov and 6 years of Stabenow as senator has undone all that. Don't get me started on Kwame.

The Cardinals are the underdogs. They have no business being in the World Series. We don't stand a chance. We are an inferior National league team. Detroit is by far the better team. They have better pitching, better hitting. Detroit is well-rested. Our beloved Cardinals are ragged from a 7-game series with the Mets. We are tired and strung out. Our beloved birds are weary. So again, we got no chance whatsoever of competing with Detroit. We are just hoping to win ONE game in this series. And a big "Thank-You" to the city of Detroit and it's fans and organization for even letting our beloved Cardinals play you guys in October.

That should just about do it.... ;>))

Dominoes are franchises. They purchase delivery areas. If they go outside of that area they can lose their franchise. And yes they have inspection teams that will test this.

Larry, I had two cultural shocks in my life.

Once when the Army sent me to school in SF.

The other when the Army sent me to work in MI.

I didn't see much difference.

I think I might have mentioned, "These folks in MI have been standing on their heads in a socialist bucket of shit so long, they no longer think it stinks."

Who is the pre-game guy with the wild hair? I'm not sure I like him.

Ah, that's probably why. I SHOULD go find a janitor's closet across the street and test them!

Sad thing is, I have a business office two blocks away but it's on the same side of the street. Sigh!

Who was the last WS team to start their CF batting clean-up? I don't think that makes sense.

Tiger fans?

Go to western Michigan or up north. Very conservative. Alas, not enough to overcome voter fraud in Wayne County. Plus there are some crazy militia types out that way.

House in JXN, cabin on Bert lake - I guess that is pretty western. LOL.

Don't get me started on that whole militia thing.
