This is what I was hoping for. A series minus the coasts! LOL

A tip of the hat to both teams for a fine series.
Go Cardinals!

The MotorCityKitties will certainly have their starting rotation well set......

I read somewhere how some people thought that Joe Buck was so for the Cardinals.
I'll just say that when teams from NY play, the announcers are always for them.

I was kind of hoping that the Mets would get to the world series, just so Yankees fans would continue to suffer.

HA-hahahahahahaha... (as a Yankee fan. I know we didn't do any better, but it's still sweet)
To: NapkinUser
Bummer the Tigers didn't get the chance to smack down both NY teams, the world isn't perfect.

I belive Bonderman is the starting pitcher in game one. Verlander is also a possibility.

ROTFL. I was rooting for the Mets for just that reason.

As one who was raised on the Detroit Tigers, attended one of the 1968 World Series games, and now lives in St. Louis, I CAN'T WAIT! I will cheer for the offense--and I don't care who wins. How cool!

Oh, you're over here. I was wondering where you were tonight. Didn't you see the live thread?
I'm so sorry about your Mets... I stood for the entire last full inning. I was as nervous as if the Red Sox were in it. What a punch in the gut at the end... Beltran, what the heck???
Anyway, I have a feeling we'll see the Mets again during next year's post-season.
Now... GO TIGERS! :o)
