It was important enough for you too question the integrity of the "Notre Dame clock operator" insinuating that Notre Dame cheated..
America's most overrated team squeaks out a win at home against another half-ass team
Maybe they should schedule traditional national powers like...
North Texas
Rice
Iowa State
Sam Houston State
Baylor
Texas Tech
Kansas State
No half-ass teams in this monster group.
Great scenario...OSU victory in national championship game would create a situation where a Big 10 team wins the national championship but NOT the conference championship.... happened once before that a B10 team won national championship but not the conference championship. That would have every other conference screaming....and hopefully create a furor for a legitimate playoff for the national championship.
1936...Northwestern Big 10 champion
1936...Minnesota national champion

oh...I thought you were talking about the BCS.
anything really pre-1960 or so can be seriously screwed up.
Like a school can have several national championships, but they are from sources that aren't recognized.
it's weird...
All is not lost because the flip side is that WE have the privilage of ranking (insulting) each others teams, coaches, conferences and whatever else we can think of. What a system!
Cal looked very beatable on Saturday against Wash, so did ND against UCLA. I agree with you that SC looks beatable (I'd say due to large # of injuries) but nothings a given.
SC just sent 11 players to the NFL, has over 20 freshmen on the roster, 20+ players on the injured list and is still 6-0. Pretty remarkable when you think about it
yeah....but they look a lot like a version of Ohio State from 2000.
they started 5-0 and didn't look great in each game, but they got the job done.
The teams look very similar to me.
