Last year FSU lost 5 games. Its pretty much the same team this year.

What's going on at the Orange Bowl this year?
To: Lakeshark
Well, I have seen on ABC's Saturday Night College Football series what OSU can do and they are a powerhouse rekon with.

ND generally has the toughest schedule in the country year-in-year out. USC, Michigan, Mich. St, a SE team, are always on the schedule. Ohio ST on occasion, Penn St....
Even the weak teams on it are often very good. Navy is an old traditional game.

And Troy Smith is still the OSU QB and he still has Michigan's number until otherwise proven.

The Orange Bowl is the next championship college bowl game, for 2007. There is a rotation each year. For 2006, it was the Rose Bowl that was the championship bowl. It would not suprise me that the OSU Buckeyes will be going to there.

LOL
If you want to go by stats, just give the damn Heisman to whichever kid is the QB at Hawaii each and every year.
Troy smith is the best player on the best team in the nation. He's a consistent on field leader who has made some great plays.
He's going to run away with the Heisman unless he gets injured. Write it down.

I thought the BCS National Championship went to the Fiesta Bowl this season.

They are playing the BCS National Championship in Glendale, but it won't be called the Fiesta Bowl. That will be played a week earlier.

But for some reason it was the same team that was able to go up against Penn State in the 2006 Orange Bowl, despite the five loses.

Yes they are, deserving of #1. But Michigan's defense is punishing and mean, the best I've seen them have, and they've had some good ones. Joe Paterno calls it "Hellish". They have a chip on their shoulder, I will confidently say, that game is going to be a barn burner.
I wouldn't take sides on a bet for that game. Ohio State is not a lock.

That's because their divison in the ACC sucked and they were able to win the ACC championship game.

He's going to run away with the Heisman unless he gets injured. Got that one right, there is no player better than him right now.

I thought the next Orange Bowl is the championship game, and any championship game is the last of the bowl games.

Michigan's defense may very well keep the game within reach. Both are terrific teams but it looks like OSU has the edge at this point.

Your guess is as good as mine. I am not sure if it is the Festia or Orange. Got to do my research on this one.
