I downloaded IE7 last week and lost internet connection on both my computers (wireless networked).

After trying everything I could think of (while in a state of panic)I eventually had to resort to removing it AND doing a system restore to get back online.

I have no idea what it was in IE7 that caused the problem, but I can guarantee you I won't be downloading it again.
