Doing us all a favor, though a murder suicide would have been preferable.

Yes, could be that she is just hard up.

I don't think it's all that unlikely that the Kennedys were behind it, but I don't know how on earth anyone could prove it.

As you say, this combines elements of the story that were already out there, the only new addition being that it is someone in DiMaggio's family who wrote it.

DiMaggio was an honorable guy, who always had my respect. But it could be that someone needs some money now.

I saw a thing fairly recently a piece on one of those "Dateline" type shows about her in which it was stated that she was a notorious, and active, leftist who had been closely monitored by the FBI for quite a while.

To my knowledge, DiMaggio never utter one word about this; she should have followed his lead.

LOL...that was my guess too. (Checked to see if anyone else was clever enough to come up with it.)

Where was Senator Allen (R-VA) on the night Marilyn was killed? In Temple? I don't think so...

So why didn't Clinton have the mob rub out Monica?

In the library.

With a candlestick.

I know this is not a series (oops serious) thread, but Arthur Miller in on the death of Marilyn Monroe? No way. "After the Fall" was the best play he ever wrote and he described MM as a "beautiful piece trying to take herself seriously".
The "Murder of Marilyn Monroe" is also an interesting essay by Ayn Rand.
(I know you meant this as a half-joke, but what the heck? I figured I would comment on your conspiracy theory ;) )

No Michael. He was a conspiracy guy. I think he lost it when he said (or his website said) that HW Bush was in the Texas School book depository.

Yes, he's excellent company for Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, who now seems to think 9/11 was staged by Rove.

they carry Pat Buchanan.

Heck, I didn't think Pat's stuff was appearing anywhere but at "stormfront.org" (if you don't know what that is, do yourself a favour and don't go there. In all honesty it's worse than Pat. Much).

"DiMaggio says her mother overheard Monroe blurt out the name or names of her killer as they stormed into her bedroom....

"[The mental patient] told Kim he was a small-timer in the Sam Giancana crime family in the East...He was told to shut Marilyn up and get a journal she had been keeping...."

"They let themselves in the front door. The Guy said they didn't see anyone else in the house. They entered her room and, as expected, found Marilyn in bed...Before she could react, they were on top of her. "

The premise put forth by Ms. Popp to "confirm" Ms. Dimaggio's claim about her mother's phone conversation instead completely contradicts it.

How could MM blurt out the names of two mob thugs she'd never seen before?

And their 'star witness' the mental patient who says he did it says she was in bed with no mention of being on the phone with anybody. It's hardly likely that they would spend days tailing her to get her at an opportune time but would then decide to do it while she was on the phone & in a position to alert somebody she was being killed by people she was miraculously able to recognize by name.

Somebody needs to tell the director of personnel at WND that the Americans with Disabilities Act does not mean you have to hire every single nutjob who walks in off the street asking for a job as story editor or book reviewer.

Good grief! This is supposedly the most visited "conservative" website?
