Same thing happened to me years ago at the Inman Park Festival in Atlanta. My band was closing out a show at a local art house that rarely had bands. The cop came in and just went nuts on us for no reason. You would have thought we were selling crack or something. Same problem with gentrification. Someone had built super condos in the neighborhood and some tight a$$ got bent out of shape over a party that had been going on for years in that area.
I did get cuffed but I had to cause a diversion for my drummer to slip away, he had a few warrants.

Some are suspicious it is because the video content was hosted at YouTube and there were 22,000 visitors. This story has gotten on the wires for the music press.
Could be political pressure too.
