Thank you, I've seen the poll. It supports my analysis that the "Duke" case hurt Nifong because it helped Black.

Everyone seems to think that Black was going to win before the "Duke" case and therefore Nifong needed it to win, but that simply isn't the case.

Black was not nearly as strong a candidate as some imagine. Nifong was the choice of the Democrat machine and Ms. Black is SHARPLY disliked by many in this area. She was not going to win. The "Duke" case actually gave HER a shot at winning.

I know, I know, everyone disagrees, but I'm right here in Durham everyday. I see it first hand.

Nifong screwed up big time, but it was not an evil master plan to come from behind, win the election and save his money. It was a matter of political pressure, incompetence and very bad judgment.

Peace,
jw

Youre full of crap. Just because you live down there doesent mean youre not CLUELESS.

Are you telling us that he, a nondescript nobody, would have beaten a pretty famous female prosecuter, who was outraising him 10 to 1 in the last month before the Lax Party??!! I gave you the link that shows otherwise, too bad you don't read too broadly, apparently . My guess is you only know what you read in the local papers, and thats it.
