I'll double that thought. My wife, though nearly perfect in all other ways, is not a good cook. Lucky for her (and me) I'm a very good cook and getting better all the time.

My doesn't cook (she's Irish), which has probably saved my life. In all other areas needed for a long and happy marriage (sex, sex and sex)... she's a master chef.

Cooking, and learning to cook together, can become one of the most pleasurable and romantic activities a couple can engage in outside the bedroom.
Get DW to snuggle up with you in front of the Food Network a couple of times a week, and ask her to chop a few things or stir the pot as you are cooking, and she'll get the bug. Especially if after a nice meal, you give her a big hug and a nice kiss.
