There are rural places here in the Ozarks that I'm not sure the sheriff even knows about. Wife and I got lost looking for a fireworks wholesaler south of I-44 a while back. Blacktop turned to gravel, then to dirt and finally we ended up in the yard of a Mennonite family and their goats.

LOL! That's a good story. I bet the people on that farm were shocked to see you as well.

We're in our third year of "country life" and it is kind of fun taking a Sunday drive on rural roads to see where they take you. Once we found a stretch of gravel called Nike Road. It ends up in St. Boni where the monument in their park is a Nike missile. It turns out there are two abandoned Nike sites in our area. I'm interested in history so it was a great find.
