Need new hompage (vanity)
Posted on 10/13/2006 7:11:03 PM PDT by ansel12
I've been using google news as my home page, but they are just too liberal, and they have too much sports and entertainment. Can someone suggest a news home page? What are some of the favorites here at FR?

How about having the courtesy of taking your personal conversation to IM. I don't recall ever seeing someone do that on an FR thread. In trouble again?

That is a pretty good option, but I'm starting to think that google news is unbeatable.
What I'm looking for is something that is like a dream newspaper, that I can scroll down and see the general news headlines, all in about five minutes, then come to FR for more carefully chosen articles on those headlines and useful commentary below those articles posted.

I like those two links, in the next few days I'm going to have to look at some of the links you guys have shown me,
It's funny how I'm regretting the need to change, this is starting to remind me of how hard it was to give up reading 2 to 5 newspapers a day and start relying on the Internet.
Because of FR I've even let most of my magazine subscriptions go, FR is one hell of a source for information.
