on an iPod, configured

No it won't, the market already shows that people prefer Windows to Mac OS.

HA! Well, I'm glad apple finally woke up to the reality that they can make a killing selling and/or marketing their os independent of their hardware.

It just might. I've thought for a long time Apple should switch to Intel and make OSX available for standard "PC's", and if they can configure a virtual machine or 'live cd' that boots on Dell or other cheap PC's they will will make some serious noise in the desktop O/S market.

Interesting...

Though from the article, it sounds like it's simply Apple's own version of NX configured for Mac and iPod
