You're talking civil court proceedings mainly, not criminal court. Whole different ball game there. People lie like crazy in civil court and there are rarely any consequences for it. Family Law is about the worst because they're dealing with people's kids and pocketbooks. But, exactly, where was the corruption? Did your wife pay the judge off? Give the cop a blow job to change his testimony? What were the corrupt acts on the part of the court and the cop? Did you ever go to family court services? How old were your kids when this was going on?

Well - I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition!

But then again - NO ONE expects the Spanish Inquisition!

Look, I don't have to defend myself here, too, guilty until proven innocent, etc. Nor do I have to give myself a case of post-traumatic stress disorder by dragging up for your amusement every sordid detail of the worst four years of my life.

But look at the Duke case - You have seen the evidence - you know what a dog this is. But Nifong has plenty of defenders! And not just the pot-bangers - Nancy Grace, Wendy Murphy - former prosecutors have been giving very active support! The MSM supported his actions for a long time, and the NYT and the Herald Sun see nothing wrong with what is going on here.

There is a huge segment of society and a huge segment of the "justice system" that is twisted beyond belief. If a person walks into a courtroom, whether it be criminal, civil or probate, they have a right to expect fairness, objectivity and impartialness.

That, however, is NOT what they are going to get.

How much more evidence do you need?

That is exactly my experience. Civil courts are highly problematic if one party is willing to lie and is good at it. In our case the judge almost nullified the jury verdict, because he recognized who was lying. We are still fighting it.

The worst part is when a competitor decides to use the legal system as a commercial weapon. Scary, scary.
