There's too much to cover in one segment, so there will be at least
two segments, only the first of which will be shown Sunday night.
The first challenge is to show the Durham County voters that electing
Nifong would be a crime.
The second is to let accuser Crystal Gail Mangum know that admitting
that there was no rape is the right way to go.
And "60" is privy to info that has not appeared in blogs,* hard as that may
be to imagine. (NONE of it good news for Nifong or Crystal, of course.)

Nifong: "The allegation that I've heard that this is all some kind of a setup
is quite an elaborate allegation, and I haven't heard any convincing
circumstances being discussed about not only who would do such
a thing, but why such an elaborate plan would have been discussed.

I wonder if some of that "info" is photographic evidence? You know there has to be more than what we've seen.
I hope 60 Minutes isn't going to be split up into two weeks - one segment this week, one segment next week - like Gaynor says. I thought it was going to be two segments in one show. Anyone know for sure?
Hooking isn't paying much in Durham these days.

14 arrested in prostitution sting
From Staff Reports
DURHAM - Fourteen people were arrested on prostitution charges in a Friday night sting.
Nine men and five women were arrested by officers posing as either prostitutes or johns.
They discussed performing sex acts for prices ranging from $10 to $25.
In one case, Makeisha Elaine Parker, 31, 212 Cushman St., offered an undercover officer, B.D. Schnee, oral sex in exchange for a ride to the store, according to warrants.
