Well, Jez, there's lots of bad guys in this drama. The pot-bangers for exploiting on to it for social activism, the Duke 88 for the same thing, Nifong for his criminal activity, the NandO and HS for setting fire to the lynch mob - plenty of blame, no doubt.
But IMO, the real worm, and I mean scummy, weaselly, detestable creature, is Brodhead...

All true, but I was talking abouot the election. We're all individually responsible for whom we vote. We're also all individually responsible for our private reasons for whom we vote. When the reason is racist because you want to see somebody of another race get hammered for something, it's just plain wrong and cowardly. Without the unexpected black vote, Liefong would not have won the nomination.
