I went to the theatre to see the movie "The Departed.
I sat down and the pre movie stuff was running. There was this cartoon looking advertisement playing. I don't quite know what it was about. In the background one of the signs said We love Nambla. Anyone else see this? It had no other reason to be there than indoctrination of the young. I will follow this up by complaining to the management of the theatre.
Yo! Cleanup on News/Activism. You guys always move my relevant vanities from N/A, but leave stuff like this. Get on the ball!
Agreed. Put this in Breaking News where it belongs.
I thought it was of interest. I didn't know I had to be so with it and sophistocated. I can get this on the lib sites.
Was it some sort of Cartoon Network promotion? CN is always pushing some sort of cultural garbage like that to children. We saw an ugly CN product preview before "Facing the Giants" today. The audience actually booed the CN preview.
I saw "The Departed" too, but did not see any cartoonish promos run before the main film. BTW, what did you think of the movie?
I thought the movie was pretty good. I find all these new movies a little hard to follow, but the acting was great. I was not a Decaprio fan but as he gets older I find him more believable. Reminds me of James Cagney. Jack was great, especially the scene about the rats.
