I guess it's clear that no matter who they beat, they won't get any respect or support.
I'm pulling for the Tigers to win it all... if they get beat by the Athletics then I'll root for the Athletics... I'll never pull for a National League team in future World Series (unless the Red Sox make it to the Series... in the future).
