Anyone else annoyed at how ESPN is covering this story? Their entire angle seems to be how the Yankees lost this series and what they need to do for next year - most of the blame on the Yankees going to you know who....
How about some credit for the Tigers, especially the pitching the last two games?
It's pretty ridiculous to blame the loss on A Rod. If they think one man should carry the team they deserve to lose. I feel sorry for A Rod today because of the way they're dumping on him.
The Tigers really are that good this year. They went into August with a 9.5 game lead over all of the major league. You wouldn't have known it from watching ESPN all season. The sports media is worse than the news media in the bias department.
