Especially when we're forced to listen to the endless fawning of the sports media over the Yankees. The Tigers led the entire major league before they even noticed.

As a loyal Royals fan I never thought I would be rooting for the Tigers :-) Go Tigers.

On a sad note, negro baseball legend and Kansas City hero, Buck O'Neil passed away tonight. Espn has a nice tribute to him. RIP Buck.
